a.  Use the data given to create a 95% confidence interval for the average number of people in a household (“number living together” is the name of the variable) for students living on campus.  (note- you might look at Excel question 7, pp. 270-271, for an illustration of how to do this in Excel).

d.  Interpret the confidence interval created in part c.  Exactly what does it tell you?

 

e.  Compare the two confidence intervals.  Is there evidence of a difference between on and off campus students in the average number of roommates?
