Current Threat To The United States
The current threat to the United States is from chemical weapon more than biological weapon, though, both of them can result in mass effects of great magnitude. Another similarity between these two categories is that they can easily be manufactured using simple technology, little capital establishment and with no more infrastructure required, complicating matters as far as detection of their manufacturing is concerned. For the case of biological weapon, there is involvement of organisms or toxins, which kill or incapacitate humans, domestic animals, and crops. However, these biological problems do not pose too much threat as in the case of chemical weapons due to the possibility of them being countered either through natural or other ways such as exposure to high temperatures for some, spraying and general taking pro-active measures in order to prevent, stop or reduce their impacts.
